If affected by the outage, when attempting to perform searches in Google, the search results page will show the various search cards, such as People also ask, related Tweets, Videos, and Related searches.

However, the site will not display any search results, instead showing a 'More results' button that does nothing when clicked.

It's unclear why some people are affected and others are not. However, in BleepingComputer's tests we were able to get search results to appear after logging out of Google.

Update 9:30 PM ET: The outage appears to be resolved for most people. However, some still continue to report having issues with Google Search.

Update 10:21 PM ET: Google shared the following statement about the outage with BleepingComputer:

"There was a very brief issue affecting the availability of results for some searches, limited to the Americas region, and it was quickly addressed." - A Google spokesperson.
