I need to access my Google account while in Italy. Last time I tried this I was locked out of both my Google and alternate Microsoft accounts. I do not have a smart phone so I can not use an APP.. I would like to include my Italian flip cell phone number but Google wants to verify and that cannot be done while I am in the U.S. as my Italian phone is off. Also I believe you have to change your ONE phone number listed from U.S. phone number to Italian number. This won't work for me I don't believe. What about asking for backup codes before I leave (while I am still in the U.S. and able to access my account? How does two step verification enter the picture? Microsoft and Yahoo have made this a lot simpler. Thank you, TomS
