Hi
Don't know if anyone can help me or if I'm in the right forum.

I bought a security backup camera system for my motorhome from a company called Xroose.

Someone stole one of the cameras and Xroose has discontinued that system and doesn't have those cameras any longer.

Is there a way to buy a camera and link it to the monitor so it will see the camera.

This is a wireless camera system.

Would need step by step instructions on how to do this.

Thanks

maranatha

I'm sorry to hear that one of your security backup cameras was stolen and that the company has discontinued that system. It may be possible to replace the camera with a compatible one and link it to your existing monitor, but it would depend on the specific model and specifications of your system.

Here are some general steps you can take to try and replace the camera:
  1. Identify the model and specifications of your existing system: Look for any documentation or information you may have on the Xroose system you purchased, including the model number and any specifications listed. If you're unable to find this information, try contacting Xroose customer support to see if they can provide any assistance.
  2. Look for a compatible replacement camera: Once you have the model and specifications of your existing system, try searching for a compatible replacement camera. Look for cameras that have similar specifications to your existing camera, including the wireless frequency and range, resolution, and any other relevant features. You may be able to find replacement cameras from other companies that are compatible with your system.
  3. Install the replacement camera: Follow the instructions provided with your replacement camera to install it. This may involve mounting the camera and connecting any necessary cables. Make sure the camera is powered on and transmitting a signal.
  4. Link the replacement camera to your monitor: Follow the instructions provided with your existing monitor to link the replacement camera. This may involve scanning for available wireless signals and selecting the correct camera channel. Make sure the camera signal is properly received and displayed on your monitor.
If you're unsure about any of these steps, or if you encounter any issues, you may want to consult with a professional installer or a technician who specializes in security camera systems. They can help you identify compatible replacement cameras and install them properly.
