Hello, I'm currently testing out Network Bridge on my PS4 and I have a few questions:

Note: my Laptop is always up-to-date along with having an up-to-date Anti-Malware and Anti-Virus engine.

  1. Can a malware/virus or anything malicious have any access to the Network Bridge and see any information from my PS4 while it's connected to my Laptop?
  2. Can any information (Login Details, Credit Card Numbers) can be stolen from the PS4 while it's Network Bridged to my Laptop?
  3. Is Network Bridging very risky, especially for a PS4 and Laptop connection?

Right now, as I'm testing out my PS4 on network bridge, I noticed I was dropping out of online games less, and online gameplay is more responsive, but connecting to PlayStation Network will take a while to go through.

The reason why I'm doing this is that everytime I play with my friends online, I always lag out of every game we play, so we can't play anything that requires high level of coordination, communication and cooperation.

I hope there are no risk involved as the results I'm achieving with Network Bridging has been very favourable for me. If there are risks, are there any things I can do to eliminate or reduce them? If not I'll just drop this idea.

Duplicate of topic, Network Bridging, on Networking form.  All follow-up should occur on that topic.
