XBOX 360 Adaptor

 So I've moved 3 months ago from UK to Trinidad and Tobago.

 Of course I thought about bringing my XBOX360 over here thinking that a simple plug converter would do the trick. But apparently there's not enough power from these outlets to even turn on my XBOX. So I googled and came across different answers, that's why I turn here and hope to get a proper answer.

 Will a simple american power cord/adaptor ( the cord and brick running form XBOX to outlet) be enough to make my XBOX work or do I have to completely replace the whole console ?

I'm not entirely sure as to what outlets they use there. Do they use North American ones? If so this looks like it may help you.

 I guess it's the same as North America ?

 It's a XBOX 360 500GB, I think latest versions of 360. It has a different connecting plug into the console than previous versions.

 Yeah outlets here look the same.

 Bought it from amazon uk in England. It's this version.

 I bought an US adaptor and worked just fine with my EU xbox. Problem solved.
