wow...thanks Martel, sorry I didn't notice this post until now. Bit of idiocracy on my part...I'm envious of your 'Malware study hall sophomore' status, and am trying to get into the 'malware response team' study hall. Keep up the good work!! Hopefully I'll talk to you soon.

Thanks for the link... I think the issue was not thinking of 'watching' an Introduction thread AND not checking my email often enough. Now that I am aware, I shall keep an eye on the threads and email.
Still trying to find an open slot to the 'study hall', but none yet...did you have to wait very long for your chance? I'd like to hone my skills in the fight against malware. I've been ridding computers of malware for a couple of years now, but I would like to become more specialized in this category.

I was an active member for several years and had not really thought much about joining the fight against malware.
I had always been successful at eliminating malware and my number one resource was BC.
I noticed a rise in AII and MRL threads and started watching the admissions page until I got in.
If you are wanting to hone your skills you will always find unlimited help in here.
An absolute wonderful and real group of professionals.
I think joining the Malware study hall is more of a commitment than just a honing IMOH ( emphasis on just my opinion).
It takes alot of personal time from some very great members to work you through the training.

When an opening is available apply.

Thanks...I'm already watching the admissions page like a hawk (every time I log on), and the commitment has been my nature for a few years now. I want to learn how to properly read all those logs, and apply that to helping people fix their computers. I'll be using computers my whole life, and so will so many other people...all the more reason to get involved! Congrats to you!

Ahhh...robotics, sounds interesting. I watch the Discovery Channel and the Science Channel all the time. Your avatar pic looks like Jupiter except for all the ice (white)...if it's not a planet, what moon? ...Curiosity...
