Windows Live Essentials does let you pick and choose which parts you want.

Done! Did uninstall in safe mode and re-installed basic drivers (don't need all of the fancy gaming things). I have amd software's basic, most current drivers installed.

I looked at Event viewer and still have a side by side error number 33 showing up. i did sfc scannow and it said it found and fixed errors. I hope i am out of the wood.Created a new restore point and was able to do system restore from there.

Got rid of a lot of the crapware. I really appreciate your help. i am not a gamer and don't need the fancy 'crimson settings' as they were a nuisance. Seems like there might be something wrong somewhere in c++ still but i don't know where to go on that. Just happy now that i slayed that dragon.

ThankYOU:)

You're welcome...

If you'd like I'll take another look at a new Minitoolbox report, see what else we can fix up.

Good Day!

I just ran mini tool and have attached the results. I also ran sfc/scannow and it said it found errors and was not able to fix all of them. I ran scannow yesterday and it said no errors, i haven't done anything to the computer so i don't understand the differnce in the 2 scannow results.

Attached is the error i got in event viewer that seems to be coming up stil.

Don't know why that side by side error is happening in event viewer. Also showing up on minitoolbox and i noticed that the system restore point that was supposed to be automatically created with the uninstaller didn't take. We did create another system restore point and tested it yesterday and it worked.

Do you know if this is a serious problem? It is a side by side problem. I tried to to into command prompt as administrator and typed in sxstrace.exe but it really didn't do much.

Thank YOU for all of your help. Some of the HP stuff is needed as i purchased "support" for the printers and it tells me if i need ink, etc. We do all of our own in-house printing here and print lots of stuff for advertising.

Thank YOU again!

Hi There! i am back! I have another problem. Today, i went to system properties and my "windows experience index" dropped one full point from 6.9 (before i updated drivers) to now 5.9? It is showing that the hard drive is not what it once was or not performing as it once was. Also, on the system information, it says i have an AMD Radeon R9 200 series graphics card when i have an AMD R9 270. i did the clean unistall and just installed the lowest amount of the crimson drivers. The system gave me a message today that i had installed new hardware and told me to run a test. i ran the test and came up with one point lower on the windows experience index. Does the computer think i installed  a different graphics card?  :lmao:
