Locate the problem entry in device manager then update the driver. following the methods at http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000834.htm

I dont know what bit to look at and even if i locate the driver, i wont be able to follow the guide, looks to hard :S

For some reason the download site is having a few problem, as soon as i can get a copy of the driver file I'll then be able to talk you through it.

Just tried it and have managed to download the file. The objective is to remove the yellow mark in the device manager indicated by post 20.
  • Download the driver from the site.
  • Extract the folder to the desktop.
  • open up device manager and expand the audio entry with the yellow mark next to it.
  • open the entry by double clicking it
  • locate the driver tab and select the update driver function.
  • click the advanced option
  • click the include location box then browse where the folder you extracted is.
  • you may have to point to the WinXP folder. then click ok and let it try and install.
