My Laptop Won't recognize TV as an Audio Source (Hdmi)

Thanks for the feedback and don't worry about the sudden disabled controller for it might just be a minor hiccup due to some unknown software changes. :)

I have been following this as Ive had the same problem
with my Asus notebook. Ive looked in System Devices in Device Manager and cant even find HDMI at all. Ive made sure all the hidden devices are visible and still nothing.
My problem is exactly the same as I can see my screen on my tv but there is no sound output to the tv. In my Sound Playback I can only see my Realtek Audio.
Hope someone can help me with this issue. thanks in advance!

Can you go to device manager and expand System devices. Look for HDMI Audio Controller or something similar and see if its flag or disabled either

hey i have the same problem but when i went to expand system devices i couldnt find the HDMI Audio Controller or anything similar 

i only found High Definition Audio Controller but its not disabled 

i still have the problem i couldnt find any solution HELP :/

For anyone having similar problems try rolling back this "intel® display audio properties" its what i did after finding out its usage since it seemed related and it worked
