Your welcome, mrs ed.
If you use Firefox as a browser, there are a couple of extensions you should check out, that will help make coding your posts easier:
BBCode
BBCodeXtra

thanks again. it is much better now

A quick and easy way to apply BB Code in your posts.

Type text and then use your cursor to highlight text, you would like to enhance using BB Code.
Next click on one of the BB Code icons on text editor tool bar. This will automatically add the BB Code tags to your text.

BB Code tool bar options

Font - Text font choices
Size - Text size choices
B - Bold text - B
I - Italic text - I
U with line underneath - Underlined text - U
S with line through it - marked out text - S
A - Font color - A
Globe - link
Tree image - Image
Text balloon image -

Quote

Numeric symbol image -
code

A post preview will show the results.
This can be done with any or all of the BB Code options available on the text editor tool bar.

Easy breezy.

Note: I will also be adding this to the top of the topic for easier access.

Are you using the latest version of BBCodeXtra, 0.2.5.6?
What version of Ff are you using?
Could you post a screenshot?

Have you tried re-installing the extension?
I haven't had any problems with it.

Nope I have not because BC seems to be the only forum that this is happening. Will give it a shot now.

test:

ok for what its worth it was "paste quote" that wasnt working. Sorry for that. I had then used bbcode extra and the clipboard option and used paste quote after that and suddenly it works. It must be this stupid cache issue I ve had eversince upgrading to 2.0.0.7 + *gmnpf* :trumpet:

It happens even after you clear your cache?
Could be a Ff problem.
I know that when you clear your cache in Ff, it sometimes just partially clears it.
To check to see if it's all being cleared you can use about:cache.

Double click the blank space, in the Tab Bar, or right click a tab and select New Tab.
In the Address Bar, type; about:cache
Click Enter.

Yep. Appreciate your efforts. Since it only seems to be at BC and I ve tried any possible alternative in regards to extensions and Firefox, I ll just have to leave it as is. Was there an update to this board recently by any chance? Ah lol I dunno. Time for bed. Thanks TG.

Not since May 2007
