When a malware enter in system W10 does not have a database signature of a specific malware not detect malware in complete scan of KFree, then Kaspersky Free's real-time protection does not work and does not block malicious actions of that malware? example malware:

Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml, Trojan.Win32.Agent.xcajyl, TrojanPSW.Rhadamanthys

You have actually not asked a question that I can see or understand.

If in the United States Kaspersky has been banned for use by the Fed Gov and the Public for National Security reasons (would say unjust reasoning IMHO)

If it did not catch the said Trojan's then should dump Kaspersky and find one that does find it.

Note Windows Defender may have caught it, the Defender scans it does a mini scan of the system.  Note Defender ranks in the Top 10 of Security Programs,

Though it is possible it is a false Positive and suggest Upload the File to VirusTotal.com if the file fits the upload size to be scanned by multiple engines.

Suggest : download SophosScanAndClean_x64.exe and save it to your desktop.

  • Right-click SophosScanAndClean_x64.exe and then left-mouse click Run as administrator.
  • Click the Next button (Default Scan)
  • When finished, press the Save Log button in the bottom left area of the tool
  • Save the SophosScanAndClean_[date]_[time].log to your desktop if anything found and and included it and upload it if Open a Malware Removal Topic.
  • Click the Close button.               (NOTE if no intention to open a Malware Removal Topic Delete)                Do not quarantine anything at this time

AV solutions aren't going to be perfect; it's up to you to change your behaviors to avoid downloading or clicking on risky apps and links.

You've already seen it from the post you asked about in many places: initially, there were fewer detections, and later, there were more.

Windows Defender has a Database and the usual way Malware gets in is from the User and their Browser or Reading Email opening something should have scanned 1st. Or knowingly download a cracked game or other software.

Try

https://www.malwarebytes.com/browserguard

Stuck this " Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml " into Google and 1st up is AI Results : Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml ia threat detected by Microsoft Defender Antivirus that can perform malicious actions on your device, such as stealing personal information like login credentials and financial details, and installing other malware

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&channel=entpr&q=Trojan%3AWin32%2FWacatac.C!ml

Trojan.Win32.Agent.xcajyl

Which was ANSWEREDhttps://techcommunity.microsoft.com/discussions/microsoftdefenderatp/question-malwares/4464138    And again you answer your self.  If it is not in the data base you are using it does not matter what program you are using.

And Was thinking it is answered here with a appropriate answer : to paraphrase you need to ask in the right place.

The Question in Malwarebytes Forum was Deleted, possibly over aggressive as is the above post.

"Since you've asked this question on multiple security forums, I don't know what your objective is in posting the same question here.

The Kaspersky forum already answered this question here: https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/question-malware-modify-delete-corrupt-files-56840/ .

unknown malware without a signature might not be detected immediately. Real-time protection can still block some malicious behaviors using heuristics, but it’s not guaranteed for every new threat
