Attached File  powershell_vcpAdaPrrI.png   10.43KB   0 downloadsMorning everyone, I´m new here.

I recently started doing some virtual machine stuff with virtual box and I´m having issues turning off the features of Hyper-V, using windows 11 pro 24H2

I have done everything in my power, spent two nights now googling, going through this and other forums posts regardings similar issues with no luck.

These 4 hyper-v features will not turn off. (screenshot uploaded)

List of things I´v done according to other forums or guides:

1. Turn windows features on and off and unticked all the things.

2. In reg editor set a bunch of things to 0, wont list them all here but followed the guides.

3. Disabled the start in Group policy Editor

4. Ran scripts in Command promt and Powershell

5. Disabled whats suppost to be disabled in Bios, didnt find much there on an older machine

6. Disabled Cred guard and Memory integrity

Right now I´m just defeated, gone in circles. Few things I noticed is some of the Registry folders or files are not there.

Any advice, suggestions or assistance greatly appriecited.
PS Reminder, I´m fairly new at all this stuff so be gentle xD

Oracle has a forum support for Oracle VirtualBox, and you can click here to access the Oracle Forums.

However, I would recommend using VMware Workstation Pro because it is far superior to Oracle VirtualBox.

As such, you can read about VMware Workstation Pro: Now Available Free for Personal Use.

Then you can register for free with Broadcom, and once you are signed in, you can download it from here.

Good luck! :)

Worked with VMware a while back, but switched to VirtualBox because VMware stopped updating the free version. Glad to see they've eased up on that a bit.

I've not used VirtualBox on Windows 11, so I'm unaware of any issues. Are those Hyper-V features interfering with VirtualBox? I'm unclear on what the issue is.
