I got a Surface Go  two months ago and see reviews and comments about Surface Go 1, 2, and 3. Microsoft says to select Start, Surface app, Device information, and Surface model. My Surface Go says "1943 i5". What am I supposed to make of this?

Then I look up Surface Go 1, 2, and 3 in Wikipedia. It indicates that they're all detachable 2 in 1's with a 10.5" screen. Mine is not detachable, with a 12.4" screen.

I can't make any sense out of any of this

I'm also missing my files that I spent two hours transferring from an external drive.

The battery drains extremely quickly too, even without any heavy use

Can also do this :

Please do this to see if it fixes any issue (note always backup and make restore points) : From the Keyboard press the Windows Key and the X Key and choose Powershell (Admin) OR for a DOS Command Prompt from START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> :
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command then Enter
if it finds problems then reboot. (Completed Successfully : means reboot)
For more information about this command please see : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image
After : please Open another Admin Command Prompt and please run Copy/Paste --> SFC /SCANNOW into the Dos window or Powershell and Enter.  Reboot after.
The 1st goes up to Microsoft for new files if any are found to be corrupted. The 2nd will then check it self and update it self and fix issues if found.

Please Post a "link" of Speccy Report.
Please install Speccy Free : https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
Use Custom Install
At the Top Left Corner of Speccy --> Click File and then Click Publish Snapshot Report, a window will popup and Click YES. --> Another popup will appear and then Click "Copy To Clipboard" then Paste that "link" to your next reply in your thread.
