When I click "Sign Out" of my Bleeping Computer account, a screen comes up from "Cloudfare" saying I need to "verify I AM Human.  It also says: "www.bleepingcomputer.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding."  If I don't click on the verification button, I cannot sign out of my account.  Is this the current method being used to sign out by Bleeping Computer or has my account been compromised somehow?

Can you provide a screen shot of this message ?  I am accustomed to seeing it when I sign in but never on signing out. It is another of BC's defences against spam of which we still get too much.

I have experienced the above as well but not lately.      If I close out the browser Tab with not being signed out I am signed out when I open the main page.

If I accidentally close out the Tab and use Firefox History and open the Tab with that then I am still signed in.   Weird stuff Cloudflare is.

Yesterday about this time I could not sign in with Firefox, it just spun and spun after i put the tick mark in.    Took about 5mins before it finally signed in.

No problem with Edge.

I would suppose some things will always be off when things happen :

When I click on "sign Out" from my Bleeping Computer account the attached screen comes up instead of me getting signed out.

I am always signed in and I receive the "verify I AM Human" screen with a checkbox at least once a day...sometimes twice.

I do occasionally sign out of BC to check something. I sign out by deleting BC cookies in my Firefox Browser.

It's CloudFlare.  I always get the challenge on signing in, or get asked to re-verify from time to time.  Lots of sites use it as a defense against some forms of attack.  It's not malicious.  TBH I never manually sign out as that happens automatically if I don't visit it within a particular browser after quite a short period anyway.

Buddy215, as you described, I went into my browser, Edge, deleted all cookies for Bleeping Computer, and saw that I had been automatically logged out of BC.  Then, I signed back into my BC account, was greeted by the "To Be Human" page, clicked on it (thank you jonuk76 for the assurance that the CloundFlare page was not malicious) and was signed in.  Now that all the cookies had been deleted, I clicked on the Sign Out button and was allowed to do so without the TBH page stopping the action.  Problem solved!  Thanks all for your response  :thumbup2:. I appreciate it very much and I feel much better knowing that there was nothing sinister going on with that TBH page.
