When viewing the responses I normally select "The last 24 hours".

This brings up about 4 pages of responses.

Most of which are a couple of folk posting in the "Forum Games" Folder

I understand that I could select, the bottom option, to view responses from every other Forum.

Is there a simpler way of removing Forum Games from that read out. Or have I misread the need to tick those I want

You can select which sub-fora 'View new content' shows you by using 'Filter by Forum' on the left.

Ticked forums are shown, unticked forums not.

It's that long since I set how I like that I've forgotten what the defaults were/are.

Yes, but how else could you do it?

You have to have some way of telling it what you do and don't want to see, so that has to be a list of everything possible.

You could programme in some preset choices that could be selected with one click.
But if you start doing that then you will always get disagreements on what should/shouldn't be in each preset.

Simpler just to let everyone make their own choices, once you have set your preference it's not like you will be changing them often.

Well, I was sorta asking the Moderators if they would consider a second option.

Basically, because the only section that I am not interested in is the "Games".

I mean, I'm not into Linux or Macs but, I like to keep in touch because, I might need to at some time.

Also few Forums would get 20+ entries, at 1 minute intervals, from the same Member, 3 times a day.

I'm with you there, the Games was the first that I unticked.

But each to their own and it's obvious from all the posts there that some do enjoy it.

PS. It can also be a handy indicator for me.
I normally stay logged into websites on my phone, and if I visit the BC forum when on my phone and see a lot of games posts then I know I've been logged out.
