I didn't say it was funny, I said it was ridiculous.

It's particularly ridiculous that such respected companies now seem to believe that they need to have such a snake-oil app in their product range.
It appears to be a growing trend, with respected concerns puttting out reg cleaners, driver updaters, etc.

Tools that for the unknowledgable/unwary users - the very users that they are being targeted at - can do more damage than good, and often do.
(You can see it all the time with the many "I used #### and it broke my computer" posts on their fora and general help sites).

I do.....chocolate can be very comforting in a stressful situation...maybe along with a heavy shot of bourbon. Of course, when you have munched all the board chocolate keys you won't be able to use the computer, but you can cross that bridge when you come to it.

There's a style of keyboard keys called "Chiclet" keys, named after  brand of chewing gum. They have a curve/dimple on them to make their presence easier to feel when you touch them. I think the ad writer mistook "chocolate" for "chiclet".
